The Other 5%
Every project we complete carries a quiet second purpose — one that has nothing to do with the client who hired us, and everything to do with someone who couldn't.
"A home is not a luxury. It is the place where a person exhales. Where a family finds its rhythm. Where dignity lives quietly in the everyday."
We built PDX Home Revival on a simple belief: that a well-designed space changes how people feel inside it. Not just aesthetically — but deeply. The way a warm kitchen makes morning feel slower. The way a calm bathroom makes a hard day feel survivable.
That belief doesn't stop at the door of someone who can afford to hire us.
So from the beginning, we made a decision: five percent of every dollar of profit we earn goes toward renovating spaces for people in our community who need it most. Not as a campaign. Not as a press release. Just as the way we run our business.
Seniors whose kitchens have become unsafe. Families whose bathrooms are falling apart. Parents doing their best in spaces that haven't been touched in thirty years. These are the projects that remind us why we got into this work in the first place.
We don't do this to market ourselves. We do it because we genuinely believe that a company which only serves those who can afford it is only doing half its job.
What this looks like in the real world
We select projects based on need, safety impact, and what we can do well. These aren't symbolic gestures — they're real renovations, done with the same craft and care as every other project we build.
Aging in Place
Seniors who want to remain in their homes but face kitchens and bathrooms that have become difficult or unsafe. We install grab bars, widen doorways, re-surface floors — changes that make independence possible.
Families in Need
Portland families dealing with deteriorating spaces — broken fixtures, mold, decades of deferred maintenance. We focus on functional renovations that restore safety, warmth, and basic dignity to everyday life.
Community Partners
Partnering with local nonprofits and shelters to renovate communal kitchens, bathrooms, and shared spaces. Places that shelter and serve hundreds of people — spaces that deserve to feel like more than an afterthought.
When you choose us,
you're part of this too.
You don't have to do anything extra. You don't sign up for a program or pay more. Every project we complete — including yours — automatically contributes to the fund.
We track it transparently. As we grow, the impact grows with us. It's built into the structure of the business, not bolted on as an afterthought.
We believe good companies make the communities they operate in better — not just for the people who hire them, but for the people they'll never meet.
